About Me

I'm a dual-degree student at the University of Iowa pursuing a B.B.A. in Finance and a B.B.A. in Business Analytics & Information Systems, graduating May 2026 (GPA 3.50/4.00 — Dean's List Fall 2022 and Spring 2023). In July 2026, I return to Northern Trust in Chicago as a full-time employee, a role I'm genuinely excited about.

What draws me to this intersection of finance and data analytics isn't the tools — it's the questions. I like understanding the why behind business processes, then figuring out how data can sharpen the answer. I take initiative, ask a lot of questions, and care about contributing to a team in a meaningful way.

My dual degree isn't an undecided direction — it's an intentional one. I want to bring both financial intuition and analytical capability to every problem I work on.

IMDb & Box Office Analysis

  • Python
  • Jupyter Notebook

Scraped and merged two datasets — IMDb Movie Ratings and Box Office Sales — to analyze and visualize the relationship between audience ratings and ticket sales revenue. The project surfaced patterns in how critical reception translates (or doesn't) into commercial performance across genres.

Heart Attack Risk Data Mining

  • Orange

Used data mining techniques to analyze health indicators — BMI, diabetes, hypertension, and high blood pressure — and their relationship to heart attack risk. Found that elevated BMI and the presence of conditions such as diabetes and hypertension were strong predictors of increased risk. Evaluated model performance using AUC.

Aflac AI Synthetic Survey Project

In Progress
  • Python
  • Jupyter Notebook
  • Web Scraping

Working in a team of six as part of the Business Analytics & Information Systems Capstone to help Aflac implement AI-generated synthetic survey responses. The project scrapes and merges real customer reviews from Yelp, Reddit, and Google Reviews to generate synthetic survey data — helping Aflac better understand customer sentiment and identify areas for improvement.
